Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 will be released on September 28 according to reports
Makers of Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence's horror comedy have decided to shift Chandramukhi 2 to September 28 now. Nevertheless, both the film's cast and its creators have refrained from responding to the chatter regarding the delayed release of Chandramukhi 2, originally slated for September 19. Speculation has arisen on social media, with some suggesting that the movie's initial release date might be affected by the impressive opening of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on September 7. Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut had recently penned an extensive note on her Instagram Stories, offering accolades to Shah Rukh Khan following the release of Jawan. Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 serves as the sequel to the Tamil horror-comedy classic Chandramukhi, featuring Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles. The movie is backed by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran and is set to hit the screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The makers of this highly anticipated film have recently unveiled its trailer. The Chandramukhi 2 trailer features a backdrop of a grand mansion, complete with a caution to steer clear of the south block, referred to as Chandramukhi's abode. Kangana Ranaut essays the role of a court dancer renowned for her beauty and dance prowess, while Raghava Lawrence takes on the character of King Vettaiyan Raja. On the work front, Kangana will next feature in her own directorial venture period film Emergency, in which she steps in the shoes of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She will also be seen as an Air Force pilot in Tejas which is slated for October release.
